Background:
Rick
graduated with Honors from the University of Florida’s Building
Construction Program. Since then he has been affiliated with two
large construction companies. Immediately after college, he began
as a Project Manager and progressed to becoming a Project Executive
on numerous projects in Arkansas and South Florida. He was responsible
for the completion of the University of Arkansas Littlerock Library
and the University of Arkansas Barnhill Fieldhouse, one of the
largest facilities of its kind in the Southeast United States
at the time.
In 1981, along with his partner, Jim Cummings, he formed James A. Cummings, Inc. As President, his role includes overseeing all aspects of the business with emphases on the operations side. He is considered one of the best in the industry to solve complicated issues.
Rick is a Licensed Certified General Contractor.
