Project Scope:
Pompano Beach Middle School houses the Communication Broadcast Arts Magnet Program for the North Area of the School Board of Broward County. This project was construed in a highly congested neighborhood. Great care was taken to be good neighbors, preserve trees and keep students, staff and faculty safe.
This project is a two-phased project that is being built in two 12-month segments. The first phase included a new kitchen, cafeteria, multipurpose area with stage, and an eight-classroom addition to replace existing modulars. The second phase includes remodeling the cafeteria, two classroom buildings, a Physical Education building and develop playfields. The playfields include a new softball diamond and multipurpose field. A new track and field event area is also be constructed.
