Project Scope: 

In March 2008, James A. Cummings, Inc. handed Palm Beach Community College the keys to their New Science Teaching Facility at the Lake Worth Campus. The New Science Building is an excellent addition to PBCC\'s longest established campus dating back to 1933.

The two-story, 51,000 s.f. building, situated along Congress Avenue, includes classrooms, teaching laboratories, a main circulation lobby and multiple offices including an office for the Dean and Assistant Dean of Science.

Construction methods included concrete tilt wall panels, structural steel columns, beams and joists, mezzanine slab on metal decking and modified bitumen roofing over lightweight concrete.
