Officers: Pamela Kalis, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Background:
After graduating from Minnesota State University in 1983, Pam
passed the Uniform Certified Public Accounting Exam in 1986
and became a CPA in the State of Minnesota. In 1992, she moved
to Chicago where she continued her auditing career, while traveling
extensively. Since moving to Florida, she has changed her focus
from the auditing profession to the accounting profession as
a Controller.
Pam began with James A. Cummings, Inc. in 1998 as the Chief Financial Officer. She became a Licensed Florida CPA and received her MBA from Florida Atlantic University in 2000. She was instrumental in the acquisition by Perini Corporation and was later promoted to Vice President /Chief Financial Officer of James A. Cummings, Inc.
Her role at James A. Cummings, Inc. includes certifying the accuracy of divisional Financial Statements, forecasting revenues and cash flows, ensuring compliance of internal controls, administering insurance programs, managing subcontractor issues and coordinating all internal and external audits. She is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Construction Financial Management Association.
