Background:
After graduating from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Building
Construction, Jim spent the next 16 years as Executive Vice President
and Chief Operating Officer of a national construction company. He and
his partners started James A. Cummings, Inc. in 1981 with the philosophy
of building quality projects on time, within budget and without litigation.
Because of his in–depth knowledge and dedication to this mission, James A. Cummings, Inc. has become one of the largest and most respected general contracting firm in Florida. He maintains executive oversight over every project and personally reviews all estimates, contracts, correspondence, cost reports, schedules and field management reports on a daily basis.
Jim is a Licensed Certified General Contractor.
